Ultra Solvy Stabilizer is four times as thick, firm,  and heavy as the Original Solvy. Great to use for stand-alone embroidery such as lace, Richelieu, and decorative stitch sewing. All Solvy is water soluble, ideal when you do not want any stabilizer to show.
